Israeli Charity: Save a Child’s Heart

We don’t often hear of the amazing work that Israel is doing in this world. We thought it would be a good idea to profile Israeli charities that concentrate on “repairing the world”. Unfortunately, we don’t often hear about the good things that Israel does in the press, but they are many.

The Israeli charity that we will profile now is “Save a Child’s Heart”. The mission of the organization is:

“to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries. SACH is totally dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child’s nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.”

Perusing their website, you can find a list of children who are currently in Israel, and amazingly, it seems the majority of children in Israel at this point in time are Muslim – children come from Burkino Faso, China, Iraq, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Romania, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe.

I’m sure our readers will agree that Save a Child’s Heart is an amazing charity and it deserves our acknowledgement and support. If you are interested in donating, please visit Save a Child’s Heart donation page here.
