Their goal is to stop the flow of funds to terror organizations by suing them in US courts, using the model pioneered by the Southern Poverty Law Center to use the legal system to confront and shut down racist groups. “Shurat HaDin represents hundres of victimes in cases against Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbullah, the Palestinian Authority, Iran, Syria, North Korea, and numerous financial institutions such as UBS AG, the Lebanese-Canadian Bank, American Express Bank, and the Bank of China.”
