Fellow Christians, do you believe the Jews have the right to live in the State of Israel, free of fear? If so, you’re going to love hearing about the organization called The New Israeli Guardians (Hashomer HaChadash in Hebrew). After noting that Israeli farmers and ranchers were living in fear from being attacked by Bedouins, including his father, Yoel Zilberman had enough and began banding together his fellow Israel Defence Forces graduates to protect his fellow Israelis and their land. To hear (errr, read, because it’s in Hebrew) what Israeli ranchers and farmers were living with, you must see this video:
I’m sure our readers will agree that this organization is worthy of our applause, support and donations. However, if you’re not convinced, here’s another video, explaining the history of this amazing Israeli organization, from it’s founder Yoel Zilberman.
While their donations options are primitive (they only accept bank transfer and check), they are worth of our support. Please spread this information far and wide to our fellow Christians!
If you don’t know about The Israel Law Center, you should. This important organization take the terrorism battle to United States courts and have been very successful in their legal pursuits. Their goal is to stop the flow of funds to terror organizations by suing them in US courts, using the model pioneered by the Southern Poverty Law Center to use the legal system to confront and shut down racist groups. “Shurat HaDin represents hundres of victimes in cases against Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbullah, the Palestinian Authority, Iran, Syria, North Korea, and numerous financial institutions such as UBS AG, the Lebanese-Canadian Bank, American Express Bank, and the Bank of China.”
I think that anybody reading this realizes that cutting the flow of finances to terror groups can only lead to good consequences! If you feel so obliged, you can make a tax-deductible donation (US only) to Shurat HaDin by visiting their donations page. The families of terror victims and the State of Israel will thank you. God Bless!
We don’t often hear of the amazing work that Israel is doing in this world. We thought it would be a good idea to profile Israeli charities that concentrate on “repairing the world”. Unfortunately, we don’t often hear about the good things that Israel does in the press, but they are many.
The Israeli charity that we will profile now is “Save a Child’s Heart”. The mission of the organization is:
“to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries. SACH is totally dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child’s nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.”
Perusing their website, you can find a list of children who are currently in Israel, and amazingly, it seems the majority of children in Israel at this point in time are Muslim – children come from Burkino Faso, China, Iraq, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Romania, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe.
I’m sure our readers will agree that Save a Child’s Heart is an amazing charity and it deserves our acknowledgement and support. If you are interested in donating, please visit Save a Child’s Heart donation page here.
